Alex Forster has worked closely with Andrew Lloyd Webber as a performer and dance captain in London's West End for over 15 years. Join us, and learn real West End/Broadway audition pieces!
Alex was born and raised in London, England. His first job was at the age of 12 working with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber on a show called Young Apollo. He went on to train at the prestigious Arts Educational School in London where he was awarded the Andrew Lloyd Webber scholarship for Musical Theatre.
During his time at college Alex performed at the Royal Variety Performance and the Brit Awards working for Arlene Phillips. After graduating Alex went straight into work. His first job was Sir Andrew Lloyd Webbers "Sunset Boulevard", working with Sir Trevor Nunn and the legendary Bob Avion. Alex was the youngest cast member in the history of the show.
His next show was "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", teaming up with Andrew Lloyd Webber and again becoming the youngest person in the history of the show to play the title role of Joseph on stage.
Many shows followed including "LES MISERABLES”,"RENT" and "WE WILL ROCK YOU" which he made his home for 6 years. Alex performed and acted as Dance Captain, working alongside Ben Elton, the legendary Brian May, and again with Arlene Phillips. Morea Performing Arts is a full-time dance and performing arts college in Cheltenham, offering a three-year, high-quality, bespoke training for students of 16 plus.
At Morea, the class groups are intimate and the training is individual and nurturing.
The team behind our students training includes: Former Principals, Artistic Directors and Heads of Department and current faculty at other top colleges in the UK. Our students also benefit from personal contact with Agents and relevant industry people.
With a student to faculty ratio of 6:1, a minimum of 40 contact hours per week and extremely talented and experienced staff, our aim is to provide training that will last a lifetime in the performing arts.

The incredible Morea Associate Programme has landed in Ireland and will be auditioning at PERFORM for its first-ever Irish group!
This international scheme of work is for students who are already receiving solid foundations from their dance schools and who would like to benefit from working at a professional level, with the top-class faculty from Morea Performing Arts!
With monthly sessions starting in September 2020, the programme aims to contribute to your development as a dancer and to nurture your evolution as an artist. The programme is for students aged between 13 and 17 years, with a grade 4 classical ballet as a minimum standard.
Very importantly, Associates will need permission from their current dance school. We respect the work that teachers have already invested in their students, and we hope to have their full support.
Audition for the programme will be held at PERFORM on Saturday February 29th 2020 at a time TBC
